This has been a year like none other and as a result, the Fish Hatchery is reaching out to the community for help to get through this difficult time.

Traditionally, we host an annual fundraising dinner/auction to raise the majority of the funds required to cover our operating expenses.  This includes everything from utilities, to taxes, to food for the fish.

Because of COVID-19 we have had to make the difficult to decision to cancel this year’s event. Unfortunately, this does not mean that the operational expenses will stop.

We need your help and your generosity during this difficult time. Your assistance in digging as deep as you are able to help us overcome this shortfall, is very much appreciated.  Tax receipts will be issued for donations.

Simply click on Donate now on our homepage to donate using Pay Pal, or if you prefer, send an e-transfer to accounting@fishhatchery.ca (include your name, amount and mailing address in the comment line) or send a cheque to NHCFH and mailed to Box 487  Bancroft, ON K0L 1C0.  Please be sure to include your email and mailing address for tax receipts.

The North Hastings Community Fish Hatchery was developed by the community, and with your help, it will continue to shine as an example of how community members working together can make good things happen.
